We are a community based, non-profit organisation established to promote the principles of multiculturalism, access, equity and social justice and committed to developing strategies for all Australians, especially special needs groups such as refugees, women, youth, children, families, the elderly, the unemployed, the homeless and people with a disability.
Accessible Diversity Services Initiative Limited (ADSI) provides Emergency Relief service under the Financial Crisis and Material Aid - Emergency Relief program, funded by the Australian Government. This service assists people who are unable to pay their bills or at imminent risk of not being able to do so.
People accessing the Emergency Relief typically have a low or no income, making them vulnerable to financial shock such as high utility bills. Others need support as a result of an unforeseen or life changing event such as illness or family violence.
ADSI is able to assist residents in the following six (6) suburbs: Auburn - Central, Auburn - North, Auburn - South, Berala, Lidcombe, and Regents Park, and limited capacity to support people from other surrounding areas.

Energy Accounts Payment Assistance (EAPA) Scheme
The Energy Accounts Payment Assistance (EAPA) Scheme helps people experiencing a short term financial crisis or emergency to pay their electricity or natural gas bill. The scheme helps people stay connected to essential energy services during a financial crisis. This scheme is not available on an ongoing basis.
How does the EAPA scheme work?
EAPA vouchers are issued by participating EAPA providers such as Accessible Diversity Services Initiative Limited (ADSI). The EAPA Scheme operates through a voucher system and each voucher is worth $50.
ADSI assesses the customer's situation and determines each case based on individual circumstances. The vouchers issued to the customer will be sent to the retailer electronically by the EAPA provider and the vouchers will be paid to the customer's account.
Note
Before contacting ADSi to make an appointment for an EAPA assessment, please contact your electricity or gas supplier to find out what payment plans and other assistance might be available. You may be able to agree on a payment plan with your supplier to suit your financial situation.
