We are a community based, non-profit organisation established to promote the principles of multiculturalism, access, equity and social justice and committed to developing strategies for all Australians, especially special needs groups such as refugees, women, youth, children, families, the elderly, the unemployed, the homeless and people with a disability.
Accessible Diversity Services Initiative Limited (ADSI) is committed to ensuring that services provided are of the highest quality and maintain a focus on client needs. ADSI endorses the following principles, which must guide the provision of quality programs & services:
- Newly arrived migrants must have equal opportunity to realise their full potential and access to appropriate programs and services;
- Everyone should be able to maintain his / her culture without prejudice or disadvantages and should be encouraged to understand and embrace other cultures;
- Needs of migrants should, in general, be met by programs & services available to the whole community but special arrangements may be necessary to ensure equality of access & provision; and
- Services and programs should be designed and operated in full consultation with clients, and self-help should be encouraged as much as possible with a view to helping migrants to become self-reliant quickly.

ADSI provides services to all migrants & refugees in the Auburn LGA. The services are offered in English and other listed languages & cultures.

Bilingual settlement workers are available at set times during the week to assist clients with their settlement & other needs. Please contact ADSi first to make an appointment with bilingual settlement workers, as they are only available on certain days.

Community Development
The provision of information to different communities through the organisation of information sessions covering topics such as immigration, accommodation and tenancy, income support, employment and health;
- Advocacy and representation of community needs at consultative community and department network;
- Support and resource local community groups through the provision of information, project development and training;
- Organisation and participation in activities to celebrate special events such as International Women's Day, Refugee Week, Auburn Festival, Session Week.

Provide information on issues that affect migrant and refugee communities
At ADSI we are committed to our clients and act as advocates on their behalf in dealing with their identified needs to ensure that a culturally
and linguistically appropriate service is provided to our clients.
Provide Information on cross-cultural issues
ADSI networks with various community and ethnic organisations in the Auburn LGA to provide information to mainstream services on cross cultural issues. The staff regularly partake in meetings with service providers to ensure that the issues of our clients are represented and their needs are met in the community.
Promote and monitor access issues for migrants and refugees
We pride ourselves in delivering a service that is accessible to migrants, refugees and humanitarian entrants of non English speaking background.

Whatever you tell us will not be told to any one else without your permission.
All sessional workers and interpreters used will also be bound by confidentiality.
Our services are not limited to any particular ethnic group and are open to all migrants, refugee and humanitarian entrants.

- ADSI will ensure equal access and availability of services to all communities living in Central and Western Sydney.
- ADSI will ensure that people with special needs such as refugees & migrants, women, families & children, the elderly, the unemployed, people with disabilities, unaccompanied minors (youth), single parents, people who are homeless or at the risk of being homeless, carers and the like, are included in the planning and delivery of services by ADSI.
- ADSI will ensure that gender equity is reflected in the management, staffing and service practices of ADSI.
- ADSI will consult and establish networks, and participate with communities in Central and Western Sydney to foster harmonious co-operation and partnerships between the various cultural groups.
- ADSI will encourage participation, through committees and consultations, from all eligible community members in every aspect of the governance of the Association.
- ADSI will promote and encourage cultural diversity practices and social cohesion in all activities and services of the Association.
We Speak Your Languages
ADSI provides services to all Australians in the former Auburn LGA. Services at ADSi are offered in English and other languages taking into consideration cultural appropriateness.

Community Engagement & Development
ADSI engages with and capacity builds local communities in areas such as immigration, employment, education, vocational training, housing, family relationships, parenting skills, aged care, disability, income support and health;
