Funded by the Department of Communities & Justice, this service provides a range of programs to support families with young children, with a special focus on children 0-3, young parents under 20 and vulnerable communities such as people from newly arrived refugee/humanitarian and/or culturally and linguistically diverse (CALD) backgrounds.
Our goal is to strengthen positive parenting skills, family relationships, child protection and children’s development through early intervention, perinatal support and other services. Activities under this program include supported playgroups, home visits, perinatal support, support groups, Positive Parenting Program (Triple P), community capacity building, and a variety of cultural and community events such as the Paint Auburn REaD initiative.
